'Why are you trying to convince people anyway?' 

  
Well, because I think God wants us to love Him with all our heart, soul and mind (Matthew 22:3), and using our mind to reason out the things of God can actually bring us closer to Him. But even more than that, when I think about all that God has done for me, I can't help but want to share this truth with others.

  
'Isn’t God the only one who can convince people?' 

   
Well, I think Paul is a pretty strong role model for us as Christians, and he regularly “reasoned” with people and many people were ultimately “persuaded” (Acts 17:2, 4). Peter also shared the truth through reason, even in hostile environments (Acts 2:14-41). They were simply following the model of their Lord, Jesus Christ, who was also in the business of sharing “convincing proofs” (Acts 1:3). While I do believe that it is GOD alone who changes the hearts of those around us, I still think it is our responsibility as Ambassadors for Jesus Christ to do our best to provide answers to life’s big questions, and this is our attempt to do just that…

We've tried very hard to provide everything we can via our website. We have no financial needs, so we offer everything we can without cost. Each page has a link to download free Word Documents and other related tools for each topic. We hope these tools will be a blessing to seekers, Christians and local church leaders. The articles you are reading here are simply the messages and topics that we are examining as a church.

There are several ways we can work with your adult or youth group to create a great message, camp or retreat experience. We love opportunities to share the fact that Christianity is actually TRUE and the fact that Christianity provides the only rational and coherent view of the world! We also do our best to present the truth of the Christian worldview in an innovative and creative way, with distinctive multi-media presentations that make even the most complex issues easy to understand!

'What kind of background and qualifications do you have?

I (Pastor Jim) have a rather diverse set of experiences that I try to bring to the table, with a background in the arts (Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Design and Architecture), a career's worth of experience as a police detective, and a Seminary Degree (Master's Degree in Theological Studies). We've created a number of topical series designed specifically to address issues important to both adults and students, and we've tried our best incorporate all of these diverse experiences into the creation of these series.

'So how do you actually present the teaching on this website?'

 
Our messages are robust and balanced multi-media presentations that place a high priority on creativity and content. There are several to choose from, and we can tailor any message series to meet the needs of your group, camp or retreat. I'm available to deliver any single message from within a series, or the single messages listed to the left in a variety of settings, from campouts to conferences!
