This message was also designed for a multi-generational service (adults and youth group combined) and exposes the weaknesses of trusting in the people of this world when God clearly wants us to trust Him alone. The message examines the lives of John Mark and the prophet Nathan to demonstrate our need to focus not on people, but on the God who created us. The message also utilizes rock climbing imagery to demonstrate our need to hold on to someone we can trust, someone who is a steady as a rock. |
