Religiosity That Can Ruin Your Faith
This message was written for an adult congregation, and, unlike the other messages in our series, it was preached without any media (but it does utilize a number of object lessons). It is designed around a study of Colossians 2:16-23, and illustrates the difference between a religious life of works and the Christian life of faith. We also conducted a comparative study with other faith systems that are built on works and used large props to demonstrate the futility of trying to save yourself with your own effort. |
